"Oh God..."

-Ben Kingsley, as Gandhi, last words

There is actually an intermission for this movie.  Oh, how I had forgotten.

"This makes driving fun."

Tonight, in the deserted Burlington mall parking lot,  I taught David to drive stick in about 30 minutes.  He was off to a good start because the first time he started the car, he didn't even stall (this all started after we finished dinner and I was too tired to drive back...so I decided to teach him to drive my car, which is manual, obviously)!  Now he can do about everything.  He can shift up and down just fine, he's just a little bumpy at the beginning, letting off the clutch too fast/early and giving too much gas.  It's only a matter of time, though, before I turn him into an autocross junkie.

Possible nudity

My Drawing II class is going to be fun.  There are only nine people and we will have a live model to observe from each class.  Tuesday, we didn't have a human model available to draw from so my teacher brought in her dog.  It was just a little bit awesome.  She said that tomorrow we need to be on time for sure because we have our first live model.  She's modeled for classes before and is a fifty-some female bodybuilder.  Interesting, no?  Oh, and did I mention that there is a man in his sixties that is a student in my class?

I'm still soooo sad...

The outcome of the superbowl made things a little better yesterday, but I still can't get over this:

Federer is my hero.

Superbowl?

Australian Open Finals: Roger Federer vs. Rafael Nadal in progress

Roger Federer (2) 5 6 6 (3) 2
Rafael Nadal    (1) 7 3  7 (7) 2

I'm going to be thinking about this the entire time I'm driving to NC.  Maybe I'll catch the encore presentation in the afternoon.
